Philosophy of Design
Influenced by the archaeology of ancient Greece and Rome, the Renaissance in Italy, France and Germany, and the Islamic architecture of the Middle East, John Henry developed a personal architectural philosophy shaped by rich cultural experience. Having lived and traveled extensively through Europe and the Middle East, he was enchanted by the ancient world and rigorously educated in the Modern.
John's distinguishing belief is that classic architecture can be executed in any style — but that style must be handled with proper understanding of historical development, with close attention to period details, materials, and design characteristics, and by building appropriately to site and environmental context. Above all, design integrity is paramount to ensure a coherent and investment-worthy result.
To make a house truly great, John imbues each work with an artist's view of composition and a technician's understanding of construction — homes that not only live well but are genuinely inspiring for the family residing there.

John Henry's approach to traditional style is an inspirational blend of academic classicism tinged with romantic overtones. John develops floor plans and front elevation concepts in your chosen style — from sleek Contemporary to French Renaissance. Hand-drawn and refined until the design is unmistakably right.
03 — Development
Resolution and further development of schematic design to prepare for construction documents. Interior design option.
04 — Permit Set
Permit-ready construction drawings, or more detailed drawings with specifications optional, with the clarity and precision required by top luxury builders throughout Florida and in most other states. Your vision, fully realized on paper, ready for realization.
